Description

AK Gas Piston Rivet
Correct rivet for securing AK gas pistons to the bolt carrier.

Install notes (summary)

  • Screw the piston into the carrier just far enough to align the piston hole with the carrier hole.

  • Leave it slightly loose so it can self-align under firing (helps long-term alignment).

  • The carrier’s rivet hole is chamfered on both sides.

  • Insert the rivet and hammer/form it as flush as possible into the carrier.

  • Sand the rivet flush with the carrier surface for a clean finish.
