This is a nice letter I bit. I much prefer these shorter ones. I use this size after using a 1/4 end mill to flatten one side of the barrel so the bit doesn’t ride up. With the new trunnion I skipped the 1/4 end mill and went with this as the first step. Even with a new trunnion I still had to ream with a 7mm reamer or the hole would’ve been undersized. People have different setups and do things differently so maybe someone could just use this. Either way a good size to have around.
